On Earth Day (April 22, 2024) we hosted an intimate in person showcase at Understory, a worker-owned restaurant in Oakland and live streamed it. It features the 7 brilliant artists from our 10 month cohort who collaborated with climate and economic justice organizations from Buffalo, New Orleans, Richmond, Guam, Boston, Florida, and beyond. They presented film, comics, multimedia installations, textile art, illustrations, and animation inspired by hidden histories of resistance.
